Scope and Contents
From the Collection:
A collection of LGBTQ+ materials belonging to Vernon Jones, a gay rights activist and community historian from Tulsa. Jones has worked toward queer liberation, policy change and community accountability since the 1960's. Jones' professional career has involved work in emergency management services for local and state government agencies as well as contracted work for the Apollo missions. Much of the collection's media content includes Jones' documentation of important community events, Pride rallies and educational materials in around Tulsa, OK.

The collection is open for research use.
