Scope and Contents

From the Collection: A small collection of materials relating to the Cobb and Payne family, specifically focusing on the the children of Alex Cobb, a former faculty member in the Department of Industrial Engineering at OAMC. The collection features a disc of digitized photos of the Cobb family. A DVD is also included focusing on Loyal Payne (1889- 1970) and his wife Mary Cobb (1891-1976) both graduates of OAMC in 1912 and 1913 respectively. Loyal was the former head of the Poultry Department of Kansas State College of Agriculture (now Kansas State University) until 1954. Video is narrated by Nell Ruth Payne Nutter, daughter of Loyal Payne
