Arrangement

More than 590 books in Debo’s library have been cataloged. Titles cataloged prior to Sept. 30, 1995, are not included in this list. Records for them are in OCLC, an international computerized cataloging network. To identify cataloged items the local bibliographic database at Oklahoma State University can be searched via the university library’s Internet site using the key words “Angie Debo collection.” As circumstances allow, records for separately published titles in this series, or bibliography, have been entered into the database. Items in books that have been cataloged have been removed and are in Box 60.

The following bibliography describes material which Debo kept in several locations, not just on her bookshelves. The arrangement is alphabetical by author, or by title if no author could be identified; it is not by box and folder. Items in this series include several that were in separate folders in the subject files and were not linked to a subject by Debo. There also are some titles related to Native Americans. The subseries is arranged in alphabetical order.
