From the Collection: Collection contains correspondence, journals, daybooks, legal documents, and genealogical information of the Farrar family, highlighting Alexander Jefferson Farrar and George Washington Farrar who traveled between Kentucky and Texas (passing through Indian Territory) during the late 1850s and then immigrated to Texas. Subjects include travel and daily life in the 1850s, Texas history, and economic history of the tobacco industry.
