Scope and Contents

From the Collection: Collection contains correspondence, contracts, memoranda, minutes, and other material from subject files found in a hutment produced by Oklahoma A&M College's/Oklahoma State University's Office of the President. Topics covered include campus involvement in World War I and World War II, work with New Deal agencies, Lake Carl Blackwell, Oklahoma Power and Propulsion Laboratory, athletics, McCarthy era loyalty oaths, and OAMC’s involvement in Ethiopia. Most material appears to be file series from the offices of President Henry Bennett (1928-1951) and President Oliver Willham (1952-1966).
