Biographical Sketch

Bryan Pettigrew Glass (1919-2010 ) was raised in China where his parents were missionaries. While serving in the Pacific during World War II, he met John Birch. Glass was on faculty at Oklahoma State University, 1946-1985, a professor in the Zoology Department from 1961 to 1985 and director of the OSU Museum, 1966-1985.

Glass received his BA from Baylor University, his Master's from Texas A&M, and his Ph.D. from Oklahoma State University. He married Carolyn Smith in 1946.
