The Kizer collection's focus is on irrigation, agricultural engineering, and water resources. The collection is primarily publications from USDA, Oklahoma Water Resources Board, EPA, and other government entities. Included are conference proceedings and other publications related to irrigation practice and teaching. The geographic focus of the collection is on irrigation and water supplies in Oklahoma and the adjacent areas with emphasis on aquifers.

Biographical Sketch

Dr. Michael Andrew Kizer received his B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Oregon State University in 1971 and 1976, respectively. He received his Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering from Oklahoma State University in 1987. Dr. Kizer served as faculty in Oklahoma State University's Biosystems/Agricultural Engineering department and is an extension irrigation specialist. Dr. Kizer also served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Malaysia from 1971-1973.
