Biographical Sketch

Dr. Carl Whitcomb (1939- ) recieved his BS in General Horticulture from Kansas State University (1964), his MS in Horticulture, Agronomy from Iowa State University (1966) and his PhD in Horticulture, Agronomy, Plant Ecology from Iowa State University (1969). He worked at Florida State University before coming to Oklahoma State University in 1972 as an Assistant Professor in the Horticulture and Landscape Architecture department. He left the department in 1985 as a full Professor. Currently, Dr. Whitcomb is the President of Lacebark, Inc.
