Biographical Sketch

Avis Sellers Wax graduated from Norman High School in 1913. She attended the University of Oklahoma from 1914-1916 and again in 1918. She then went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts from Central State College in 1926 and a Master of Arts from Oklahoma A. & M. College in 1940. She worked as a teacher the majority of her life in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas.
