Biographical Sketch

Nancy Randolph Davis was the first African-American woman to enroll at Oklahoma State University in 1949. She was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and received her B.S. in Home Economics from Langston University in 1948. She received her Master's degree in Home Economics from OSU in 1952.

Davis went on to become a Home Economics teacher at Dunjee High School and at Star Spencer High School. She retired after 43 years of service to the Oklahoma Public Education System.
