Scope and Contents

Collection contains seven volumes of Claudius Galeni's Pergameni Omnia, quae extant, in Latinum sermonem conuersa : quibus post summam antea adhibitam diligentiam, multum nunc quoq[ue] splendoris accessit, quòd loca quàmplurima ex emendatorum exemplarium collatione & illustrata fuerint & castigata (also known as the Opera Galeni). Also contains four volumes of Jean-Jacques Manget's Bibliotheca medico-practica; sive, Rerum medicarum thesaurus cumulatissimus, quo omnes prorsus humani corporis morbosae affectiones tum artem medicam in genere, tum chirurgicam in specie, spectantes, ordine alphabetico explicantur et per curationes, consilia, observationes, ac cadaverum anatomicas inspectiones, tam hinc inde proprias, quàm à variis. iusque praestantissimis authoribus, veteribus & recentioribus petitas, abundè imò & curiosè tractantur.
