Biographical Sketch

Ruth DuBois attended Christian College, Columbia, MO from 1917-1920, and Leonard Starke attended Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College from 1917-1922. They were married in 1924. The Starkes had one child, Shirley. Leonard Starke was in the banking and office supply business in Ponca City, Oklahoma, after graduation. The Starkes moved to Salem, Oregon, in 1946. Leonard worked for the Oregon State Department of Motor vehicles as a tax auditor until his death in 1961.
