Biographical Sketch

Robert L. Tontz (1917-2014) served on the agricultural economics faculty at Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College from 1947 to 1956. He received his B.S. in 1941 and his Ph.D. in 1952 from OAMC. He also served on the faculties of Iowa State University and the University of Tennessee, and led the statistics program area, Foreign Demand and Competition Division in the Economic Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
