Biographical Sketch

Vingie Eve Roe (1879-1958) wrote novels (1912-1957) with the theme of a “romanticized-wild west”. She grew up in Oklahoma Territory, married and divorced Raymond C. Lawton, and in 1907 moved to the west coast, settling in northern California.
