Scope and Contents

Collection contains postcards (four) with scenes of Oklahoma A&M College, written to Clara Roads, about 1912. One of the four has a small accordion style foldout with eight scenes of “Greetings from Stillwater, Okla.” , including one looking toward town from a high point on campus. Postcard to Clara Roads in Waukomis and Edmond, Oklahoma from a student at OAMC.

Biographical Sketch

Clara Roads was born April 21, 1888 in Rainsboro, Ohio, to Absalun (Absalom) and Almeda Kesler Roads. By 1900, the Roads moved from Ohio to Osborn Township, Garfield County, Oklahoma in a covered wagon. Roads is the great-aunt of the donor, Jim Sabin.
