Biographical Sketch

Oliver S. Willham (1901-1974) was president of Oklahoma State University 1952-1966. He was on the faculty of Oklahoma A. & M. College in the animal husbandry department from 1935 to 1939 and served as vice dean of the School of Agriculture from 1939 to 1950. Beginning in 1950 he held the position of executive vice president while Henry Bennett was both president of OAMC and assistant secretary of state in charge of the Point Four Program under the Truman administration. Willham assumed control of the college upon Bennett’s death in 1951.
