Biographical Sketch

Dr. Charles Melvin Sackrey is currently a professor of Economics at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA. (1980-present). He was a professor of Economics at the University of Tulsa (1977-1980) when he joined the Foxhound Affinity Group of the Sunbelt Alliance, an anti-nuclear group in Oklahoma. Dr. Sackrey joined in September of 1978 to participate in the occupation of the construction site of Black Fox Station Nuclear Power Plant by Sunbelt Alliance and associate groups on October 7, 1978. Sackrey subsequently helped plan, organize, and coordinate the blockade of the Port of Catoosa on the Verdigris River, January 4, 1979, and the second occupation of the Black Fox site, June 2, 1979. Dr. Sackrey participated in the Foxhound Affinity Group from September 1978 to December 1979.
