Scope and Contents

Collection contains video and audio tapes of oral histories primarily of World War II veterans made by students enrolled in Dr. Peter C. Rollins’ English classes at Oklahoma State University. Also includes oral histories of veterans of World War I, World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Conflict. Audio cassettes were recorded in Fall, 1992, for English 5293 and 6253. Video cassettes were recorded in Spring, 1995, for English 3240. Includes worksheet logs with address and biographical information on subjects and interviewers and two photographs from Robert Murphy. A second accession (1998-025) was added in 1998.

Oral histories of Stillwater area veterans of World War I, World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Conflict were conducted by students enrolled in Oklahoma State University's English 5293, English 6253, and English 3240 classes in Fall of 1992 and Spring of 1995, taught by Dr. Peter C.
