Administrative History

Located 40 miles south of Tulsa, near the center of the eastern half of Oklahoma, OSU Institute of Technology is a public, state-supported technical institution committed to increasing the potential and productivity of the people it serves.

This occurs through the delivery of high-quality instruction and programs which are consistent with emerging educational and labor market needs. OSU Institute of Technology is one campus of the Oklahoma State University system, and is governed by the OSU/A&M Board of Regents. The school was originally called OSU Tech, then switched to OSU Technical Training Branch – Okmulgee and now goes by OSU Institute of Technology. The school was founded in 1946.
