Scope and Contents

Collection contains bulletins published by Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College. Bulletins remaining in this collection that were not issued as part of a series are arranged by date of publication. Types of material include, but are not limited to: announcements and catalogs for programs, courses, workshops, training sessions, and conferences; reports that might be considered to be ‘extension’; administrative reports; commencement addresses; military training announcements; career guides; speakers’ directories; and promotional material for new and prospective students.

Administrative History

The Oklahoma A & M College Bulletin Series served as a major publication unit of the institution. Several free-standing series were issued within the general series. Many of these materials are numbered within the OAMC Bulletin series, as well as having a sub-series numeration system. In addition, a number of separate distinctly titled reports were given numbers in this series. The name of these publications changed in 1954 to “Oklahoma State University Publication.” These Oklahoma State University Publications should not be confused with collection 1993-090, which has a distinct numeration system including a T- prefix.
