Biographical Sketch

Edna Mae Phelps was a long time active participant in the Democratic Party, served on the Oklahoma Board of Elections, twelve years as National Democratic Committeewoman, and President of the Oklahoma Federation of Democratic Women’s Clubs. Phelps also served as an Oklahoma State University Regent as an active supporter of the library.
