Collection contains political buttons, pins, ephemera, autographs, bags, posters, ribbons, stickers plaques collected by Edna Mae Phelps during her long career in the Democratic Party. Phelps served as National Democratic Committeewoman, President of the Oklahoma Federation.

Biographical Sketch

Edna Mae Phelps was a long time active participant in the Democratic Party, served on the Oklahoma Board of Elections, twelve years as National Democratic Committeewoman, and President of the Oklahoma Federation of Democratic Women’s Clubs. Phelps also served as an Oklahoma State University Regent as an active supporter of the library.
