Administrative History

The Lahoma Club is an organization of women who are members of the Oklahoma State University faculty or are wives of faculty. The organization’s activities foster "sociability between college women and members of the student body." Some activities have included the formation of scholarship funds, the President's Reception, the University Dames, and a sister club at OSUIT in Okmulgee.

The Lahoma Newcomers Club was organized by the parent organization to provide social and service outlets for women who were new to the faculty or were wives of new faculty during their first two years on campus. This club became a committee of Lahoma in 1982-83.
