Collection contains three issues of The Red Angus Booster (Aug., Sept., and Nov. of 1976), a temporary publication of the Red Angus Association, published to coincide with the annual meeting held Nov. 1976, in Kansas City, MO. This publication was not meant to replace the regular publication, American Red Angus.

Administrative History

The Red Angus Association was founded in 1954; its mission was to discourage artificial practices in purebred beef production and focus instead on the genetics of purebred animals to achieve the desired results. The Association's magazine is the American Red Angus Magazine.
