Collection contains official proclamation from the Governor of Oklahoma's office recognizing Cowboy Poetry & Songs Week. Posters, schedule, brochures, and other information on the events, including books and compact discs. The event is sponsored by the OSU Library, Friends of the Library and OSU Rodeo Association.

Provenance

Materials donated by Karen Nuerhor, Associate Professor, Assessment Librarian, Edmon Low Library. Karen collected the various items while creating the Cowboy Poetry and Songs Event at the library. Karen worked with the Library, OSU Rodeo Association, OSU Rodeo Association Booster Club, and Friends of the OSU Library to create and produce the event. The first event was held in 2006 during Cowboy Poetry & Songs Week.
