Scope and Contents

Collection contains interviews of senior citizens of Stillwater, OK, which were conducted by students primarily 10-12 years of age. The bulk of the interviews are short, frequently of one page or less. Included are brief biographies of the students. No indication is given of the degree of participation by the college students.

The collection is open for research use. Stories to be Told: An Oral History Project was conducted by seventh grade social studies students at Stillwater (OK) middle school, Marian Hardin, teacher. The interviews were conducted in conjunction with college students from CIED 4323 Social Studies in the Elementary School, Oklahoma State University, under Professor Leah Englehardt.
