Administrative History

The Oklahoma A&M College/Oklahoma State University Faculty Council was created under the terms of Article 1, Section 56 of the Charter of Organization of the General Faculty of Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College, approved by the Board of Regents October 8, 1953. The first Faculty Council meeting was held on November, 17, 1953.
