The entire OAMC teaching and experiment station staff in 1895. Fourth man from the left, behind the young lady with the leg-‘o’-mutton sleeves, is Dr. J. C. Neal, first director of the experiment station. At the extreme right is George L. Holter, only member of the original four-man staff of 1891 who remained more than a few years. The third member of this group is John Fields, in the back row with close-cropped black hair and white necktie. He later was station director, and then resigned to edit the Oklahoma Farm Journal, one of the predecessors of The Farmer-Stockman
