Scope and Contents Collection contains instrumental solos, ensembles, and method books especially for the trumpet as well as various scores, textbooks, and catalogs, and some original compositions by Mitchell and other O.A.M.C people. There are some drafts of several O.A.M.C. /O.S.U. songs by Mitchell and others including the current alma mater hymn.

Scope and Contents Collection contains hymn books, music books, and paper scrolls. Many of the rolls are stored in boxes on which are written dates and other information, such as seasons of the year or themes. There are 17 rolls, 3 hymnals, and 4 other music books.
