Scope and Contents Collection contains a manuscript of a memoir titled "A Year in the Horn," written by Jim and Barbara Pogue. The memoir details their time spent in Jimma, Ethiopia while Jim worked there as part of the faculty at the Oklahoma State University established high school in Jimma. He taught math and physics there; in addition, he served as the intramural sports director. The Pogues were in Ethiopia from 1964-1965.

Scope and Contents Collection contains correspondence among Chaplin E. Bills, his wife Virginia, his parents, Mr. & Mrs. J.D. Bills, and members of the faculty and administration of Oklahoma A&M College. Additional materials include documentation of Bills’ trip and service in Ethiopia, the visit of Emperor Haile Selassie I of Ethiopia, and information on Ethiopia.

Hugh Rouk was an agronomist at the Ethiopian school at Jimma and Addis Abba. Rouk describes people, events and the country of Ethiopia in her work.

Scope and Contents Collection contains one Ethiopian woven hat. Was likely brought back from Ethiopia by one of the Oklahoma State University staff who assisted with the development of the Imperial Ethiopian College of Agricultural and Mechanical Arts.

Scope and Contents Collection contains Oklahoma A&M College (OAMC) memorabilia collected by Jack Holt. Includes essay on OAMC involvement in Ethiopia, photographs, clippings, notes, religious writings, and half-time scripts for the OAMC marching band. Jack Holt was an agricultural student and announcer for the marching band.
