Scope and Contents Collection contains Dr. Donald R. Snethen's collection of books, pamplets and other materials on expansive soils. Included are copies of Dr. Snethen's publications.

Scope and Contents Collection contains books, a copy of Parcher's dissertation, and his class notes from Karl Terzaghi's (considered the father of soil mechanics) course in Engineering Geology offered at Harvard, and Parcher's notes from an Engineering 264 class (soil testing) also offered at Harvard.
