Scope and Contents Collection contains 11 cassette tapes of Helen Knode's interview with Dave Bray, Jr.; Helen Knode's notes on phone conversations with Bray; 2 8x10 photographs of Bray; corrections on transcripts by Mrs. Bray; chronology of Dave Bray's life; opening of his finished book, "Dave Bray: My Back Door;" transcripts of conversations with Bray for Knode's research on her book, "Wildcat Play." All interviews with Bray were done by Knode as research for her book, "Wildcat Play."

'Dust, Drought, and Dreams Gone Dry' Oral History Collection

Scope and Contents Collection contains 49 interviews and supporting documentation and photographs from approximately 150 women and small number of men who lived through the Dust Bowl era in Oklahoma as adults or young adults. Project narrators came from 10 Oklahoma counties although the majority were from Cimarron, Texas, Beaver, Harper, Ellis, Dewey, and Woodward counties. Interviews focused on home life, domestic duties, family relationships and the lasting personal and collective impact of the Dust Bowl era.

Scope and Contents Collection contains one audio cassette tape of Kathleen Gardner's oral history interview with Dr. Dale McKinney, Oklahoma State University Dept. of Art, and 8 photographs of his work, and one audio cassette tape of Gardner's oral history interview with Professor Doug Hale, OSU Dept. of History.

The interview with Hale covers the settlement of Oklahoma, and the interview with McKinney covers the influence of art on Stillwater, Oklahoma, former students, and other topics.

Myron Dale McKinney Tape Recordings Collection

Scope and Contents Collection contains 14 audio cassette tapes. Subjects range from interviews with McKinney to original compositions by McKinney. Also included are musical performances by Angelica Morales von Sauer. All tapes were copied from McKinney's collection by Evan Tonsing in the week after McKinney's death in 1994.
