Scope and Contents Collection contains published poetry, magazine and newspaper articles, and a book. Also included are unpublished poems and short stories and an unpublished book-length manuscript entitled, A Permanent Home. The thematic focus of the writing is life in western Oklahoma during the 1930s and 1940s including the Dust Bowl period.

Scope and Contents Collection contains one copy of the book "Long Road from Jenson," which is the autobiography of Barbara Ellen White, 1882-1956. Barbara Ellen White was brought to Indian Territory by her father.
